SCSI-5 to SCSI-3 converter cables are ideal for connecting a VHDCI (SCSI-5) controller to any SCSI-3 peripheral with HD68 68-pin Micro-D SCSI connectors. STC VHDCI SCSI cable products are fully stackable, allowing 4 plug connectors to fit into a single host bus adapter slot. Each SCSI-5 to SCSI-3 converter cable is built and tested to the latest specifications and features STC designed EMI shielded nickel plated zinc diecast back-shells for added durability. VHDCI connectors are also sometimes called Very High Density Connector Interfaces and are used on SCSI-5 connections, though these cables have not been tested for suitability with SCSI-5.
