Customer Questions & Answers Question: Can this work with a SanDisk 256 Mb memory stick pro duo or the Sandisk memory stick duo adaptor? Answer: I have been using this product daily for almost a year to transfer photographs to my iMac computer from 32, 64, 128, and 256 MB Sandick SDHC and CF memory cards. It is well-built and has always been reliable. Question: Will this work for the Tesla Model 3? Answer: Yes, it works for the Tesla Model 3 if it supports a flash drive via the USB port. Question: Can this be plugged directly into a computer's USB port and the mini-port of a digital camera to transfer photos from the camera to the computer? Answer: It will plug into the USB on the PC with no problem. It will be most likely too large for the camera.
Customer Feedback "I love this product! I have a Canon 5D Mark 2 and instead of my old camera which had a DD card, this one has a CF. This has all the different card ports you need and I’ve had no issues! The light turns on and blue when it’s plugged in and powered on. with some other card readers, I’ve had an issue where my computer doesn’t read it but this one works great. Be careful when you’re putting in your CF card so that you don’t bend the prongs inside."
"Works with Windows 10, which left all of my original card readers useless. I was able to read all of the different types of cards including Compact Flash. Need to be very gentle when inserting the card so as not to bend any pins, don't force it. The card only goes in 1 way, so jamming it backward or upside down will bend the pins. But this is inherent to these types of cards, and probably one of the reasons they weren't on the market very long."
"We had an old SD card from an old camera and wanted to get the pics off onto our computer. I looked around and this was the best as it had 4 different slots for multiple types of cards, rather than just 2 types. We got it, tried it, and it fit the Sony camera SD card we had. It easily has a USB end to connect to a laptop. We downloaded the photos very easily. I will keep this for other cards if we need to get data off at a future point. Thanks for a great product! Shipped fast, easy to use, totally worth the price."
"I chose this particular model after reading numerous reviews of both this and competitive products. It appears well constructed with a permanently attached cord and performs as advertised with fast transfer speeds through a USB 3.0 port to the computer (SP3). I had no trouble reading my Lexar SDXC U3 cards, nor any others I tried - CF, SD, and TF (micro SD). I tried copying an old 223 MB folder of assorted jpg and gif files from a CF to an SD card and it worked flawlessly, with average speeds of around 1.7 MB/s. Copying the same 36 files to a folder on my SP3 went too fast to read the transfer speed. The only oddity is that SD cards must be inserted face down when the label on the reader is face-up, but I suppose that was the only way they could keep the thickness and cost down.
"Let me start by saying I don't know why I took so long to buy one of these. Now that almost everything has wifi enabled sharing it's like what is the point? But it was worth it. I purchased this for two reasons, 1) the SD card reader on my laptop was giving me a hard time, some SDs would show up quickly others wouldn't even bother, and 2) I purchased I DSLR camera, and taking out the SD card is a lot easier than connecting the whole camera to my computer.
