Product FeaturesMaterial: copper-clad aluminum, PVC Each cable length: about 20 cm /8-inches The male ends are meant for insertion into standard 0.1"(2.54mm) female sockets and the female ends are meant for insertion into standard 0.1"(2.54mm) male headers. The cables can be separated into a single root as you request to do multiple connections.
What are they used for?Widely used in electronic projects for connections. It can be used for the expansion of the experimental board pin and increase experimental projects. You can quickly conduct circuit testing without welding. It can be reused if the terminal is not damaged, it can also be used for soldering if damaged.

Customer Feedback "These are great for doing Arduino breadboard projects. I've had no problems in that area. My problem came when making a small circuit board, I cut some of the wires, so I could solder one end, and still have the female or male end on the other side. Some of the wires will not take solder. I strip off the plastic and see a black coating on the wire - no matter how much flux I use, these wires will not solder and are a huge pain. A bit more quality in the wire would help. Not all the wires are like this, I've noticed it happens a lot on the white wires in my batch. UPDATE: STC contacted me and ended up replacing the wires. I haven't had time yet to check if these have the same issue trying to solder, but I did raise the rating one star, as STC seems to care about their customers. As soon as I get a chance to solder one of these (it has to be a place where I need one end with a connector and I'm soldering the other end), I'll update the review again. Anyway - great customer service - Thanks STC!"
"Great product. Wish I had bought more tbh. The only complaint is the length, but I knew what I was buying so I can't complain. Sturdy and fit well into breadboards. The female-to-female seemed like a waste and would prefer more males to make but again, I knew what I was buying. Cutting the female to female for some side work, worked well. Will be picking up another set soon."
"Work great as a/c or refrigeration circuit board jumpers. I have a Manitowoc NEO ice machine running on one of these jumpers until a new touchpad arrives. Much better than alligator clips."
"I bought this to mess around with my Raspberry Pi, and they work great. They make snug connections with everything including my breadboards. I like having 10 different colors, and they are a good length. I do wish I could buy the three different kinds separately. I find that I mostly need the male-to-male ones and some of the male-to-female ones, so I end up not using almost 1/3 of the wires. But they weren't too expensive so I just bought more boxes. I also wish I could get some shorter ones. Sometimes the length gets in the way when I'm making a simple connection from one spot on the breadboard to another nearby spot."
