Answer: In my case; where the microUSB connector on the device is not recessed, the connector of the cable protrudes 8,5mm from the device.When the connector is inserted into the device 2mm of the male part of the connector is still visible.From the center of the micro USB connector to the beginning of the ribbon cable is 10mm. The micro USB end is 12,1mm at the widest .I hope this information makes sense and is useful to you.
