Customer Feedback
"These cables DO work for high-speed HDMI transfers like 4K content. I have NO complaint about the quality or function. The only reason I didn't give them the full 5-star rating is that there is at least one other choice (Monoprice) that works at least as well, has a guaranteed 18 Mbps transfer rate, and costs half as much. There are plenty of MUCH MORE expensive cables that may or may not work, so for this reason, these are a good choice. I had a load of problems with my relatively new 4K TV - with Amazon FireTV (4K edition), my satellite receiver that was supposed to stream 4K and a 4K Blu-Ray player that just would not deliver - and it was all because of the cables. The Amazon Basic HDMI 2.0 cables completely let me down (an unusual thing for Amazon products, that have always been delivered before). To reiterate, these are fine, do deliver as promised, but the price can be beat."
"When I bought a 4K DVD player at an unnamed big box store, the sales jerk tried to sell me a six-foot HDMI cable for seventy dollars. I said no give me the cheap forty-dollar cable. Then when I got home I thought that still seemed like an excessive amount for a six-foot cable. I googled information on what cables are necessary for a 4K signal. My current cables were about seven years old and needed to be replaced for 4K but the articles I read said you didn’t have to spend an arm and a leg for them. I selected these because they were a little more expensive than the lower-priced cables and had good reviews. I bought three of them. One for a 4K DVD player, one for a 4K Apple TV, and one for the new Directv 4K receiver that I have on order. I installed and tested the cables on my 4K Apple TV and DVD player and noticed a significant improvement in the 4K images. I can’t say that a better picture is possible with the more expensive cables but I am very satisfied with these cables and would recommend them to anyone converting to 4K equipment. I learned that you need to upgrade your HDMI cables for 4K and you can spend seven dollars or seventy dollars for a cable. Your choice!"
"Perfect for what I needed. New 4k HDR equipment MUST have these. Need HDMI 2.0 and 2.2 HDCP to run through the receiver so all 4K content and audio will be compatible. If you are getting a new TV, make sure your receiver has 2.2 or you will have to upgrade to a new receiver, (Yamaha RX-A3050/3060 and up), and these cables are a MUST! Unfortunately, as I found out after buying a new LG and Samsung 4K DVD player...your old, (less than 2 Y.O.!!!), receiver is not upgradable and the great folks at Yamaha walked me through the process. Great cables! You will need and want them!"
"Amazing quality. Would buy more of these. I have one connected to my PS4 Pro because I was noticing some video lag with the dodgy HDMI cable I had been using. I didn't expect much improvement in gaming but I can honestly say it helped!"
"I bought these for all of my new 4k video connections and everything works and displays beautifully."
