Customer Feedback
"I have a Dell e-port replicator w/ 2xdisplay port, 2xDVI & 1xVGA outputs. I had two 27" monitors that have VGA & HDMI inputs that I wanted to connect. I used the VGA connection for 1 monitor .. for the other, converting DVI to HDMI resulting in screen flickering, so I bought this cable to convert a display port to VGA, which worked great."
"Works well. PC picks it up right away. We have it displaying 1280x1024, which it does great. I haven't tested any HD resolutions."
"Works great and the shorter length option is convenient to keep the cable mess to a minimum. I have this fed by a StarTech.com Thunderbolt 3 to Dual DisplayPort Adapter to a cheap 1080p display that does not have a DisplayPort connection."
"My Dell laptop had a shaky VGA signal (it's a work hand-me-down, so no telling). So I tried this adapter to use the DisplayPort to connect to my old VGA-input-only monitor, and it works great! The picture is as good as or better than any direct VGA input I've had on that monitor, and even on the newer monitor I tried it on. If you have DVI, then you will most likely get a better signal using the DVI adapter, but you have to stare to notice at 1280x1024."
"I was fortunate enough to go to Google IO in 2012 and they gave us all Chromeboxes. The Chrome box works great but was very limited in its uses so I put Ubuntu on it and it's not a media PC. This cable allowed me to hook the Chromebox up to my TV so it could remain on all the time. No issues with resolution, noise, or any other typical problem you get with cheap cables. This cable is made well and doesn't look cheap. Would by again if I needed another one."
"Have a GTX 660 ti. Used my HDMI on my main, and DVI-I with the VGA adapter to my second. I wanted a third but only had VGA monitors around. Active vs. not active confused me and I couldn't get a definitive answer, but this worked and I now have 3 working monitors. It even lets me do Nvidia surround, though I don't use it."
"Picked some of these up for a client and now I keep a couple in the back of my truck. They work great and help bridge the gap to some older monitors. Zero issues. Would recommend to others!"
