Answer: Yes, the USB plug can be removed. you can unlock the latch /little black holder.It can be soldered. please be very swift and control the temperature around 200 degree (lower temperature ) while soldering
Question: Please can you confirm the length. I ordered one and it was only 50mm (5cm) long, not 50cm as per the title. Answer: Hello It should be 50cm. please contact seller and send them the photo for exchange (there is contact on the warranty card)
Question: What's the dimensions of the micro usb end? (i.e. how much it will protrude from a micro usb port & how long from 90 bend to the ribbon cable? thanks! Answer: In my case; where the microUSB connector on the device is not recessed, the connector of the cable protrudes 8,5mm from the device.When the connector is inserted into the device 2mm of the male part of the connector is still visible.From the center of the micro USB connector to the beginning of the ribbon cable is 10mm. The micro USB end is 12,1mm at the widest .I hope this information makes sense and is useful to you.
