They put the sata ports right underneith the pci-e slot and in a row but i got 2 of em in and used the dell one where it wasnt a problem. It was designed to purposely hinder you installing a decent card in that machine but im stubborn as hell and always find a way to get it to work. They are cheap and way better than the dell optiplex cables. These ones clip in, made better, lay nicer and made me very happy."
