Question: Can use this for multiple monitors (with an adapter)?

Answer: Doubtful. Most USB 3.0 outputs, such as a USB-C supporting display port, will either (or both) lack the bandwidth for two monitors, or the display port signal is intended for only one monitor. You would need to get a proper hub with either DP or HDMI output(s) that match your needs. Proper hubs generally create the DP or HDMI signals internally rather than relying on the signal coming from the USB port.

Question: Is this a 7 or 8 port? I only count 7. As per the description, it’s an 8-port.?

Answer: The 8th one is on the end opposite the power cord. There are 8 even though you can only SEE 7.

Question: Will this hub work with HP DisplayLink nl571aa? looking to attach 6 to it and then to my PC

Answer: Yes.

"I like the compact size of the hub. It is easy to insert the USB wires/thumb drives. The only improvement could be to provide non-slide pads because if you try to insert the cables on your desktop it tends to slide away. The power supply block is very bulky and takes up a lot of space. Also, the switches to turn on the power are hard to push until they click on because of the flush design. Overall I am happy with the functionality and meets my needs."
