QUESTION: How many watts and amperes can these cables carry? if sata power cables are meant for disk drives, how come they can provide enough power to a GPU?

ANSWER: It will handle a graphics card with no problem, I used one for a 1050ti and it gave me no issues, this is a very good quality adaptor that does its job.
