QUESTION: Can i use this to power ssd?

ANSWER: No, this cable is meant to plug into PCI connections which use a 6 pin connector. If you do not have enough sata power connectors coming from your power supply, you may need to look into a sata cable Y/splitter such as this:

QUESTION: How many watts and amperes can these cable carry? if sata power cables are meant for disk drives, how come they can provide enough power to a gpu?

ANSWER: It will handle a graphics card no problem, I used one for a 1050ti and it gave me no issues, this is a very good quality adaptor that does it’s job.

QUESTION: would this work as a psu to sata power cable for a hard drive? It looks like it would but just want to make sure.
